Monthly recommendations: books bloggers made me read

Find out more about the Goodreads group here! This month is Books BookTube Made Me Read. I don’t really watch Booktube, so I’m going to instead go with books bloggers made me read!

On my TBR

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

This isn’t from any particular person, but I’ve seen this book everywhere and everyone seems to love it!

Swimming Lessons by Claire Fuller (from Kristin)

Kristin has talked about and recommended this book a lot, so I had to add it to my TBR. It also sounds right up my alley, so I definitely need to get to it soon.

The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne (from Rachel)

Rachel has talked about this a ton and it sounds so interesting. It also has a crazy high rating on Goodreads, which is usually a good sign.

Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage (from Jasmine)

I read Jasmine’s review of this book and it sounded so interesting and weird. I don’t read a lot of books about family dynamics, but I find them so interesting.

That I’ve read

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab

I saw this series EVERYWHERE last year, so I decided to read it. It was such an interesting concept with great characters and world-building.

Starfish by Akemi Dawn Bowman

Again, this book was everywhere last year in the blogging world. I got it for Christmas and really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend it.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I’d heard of the Night Circus before blogging, but I’d read so many great reviews last summer so I decided to pick it up. It was one of my favourites from last year.

So those are my recommendations of books from the blogging community!

  2. I’ve only heard of Darker Shade of Magic and The Night Circus before. It’s interesting how sometimes what books you’ve heard of depends on whose reviews you follow. 🙂
