Top Ten Tuesday December 5: Bookish Settings I’d Love to Visit

Learn more about Top Ten Tuesday here! This week is Bookish Settings I’d Love to Visit. Some of these were really easy to figure out, some of them were harder.

Hogwarts from Harry Potter

I feel like this one is pretty self-explanatory. I would obviously love to go to Hogwarts, and I think it’s going to be on most lists this week.

Hogsmeade from Harry Potter

Again, pretty self-explanatory. I want to visit all the pubs and shops and the Shrieking Shack.

Red London from A Darker Shade of Magic

Red London was my favourite of the Londons. It sounds so lovely and fun.

The Night Circus

If I could go to one bookish setting, it would be the Night Circus. It’s so magical and I would love to go there.

Ever since I read these books as a kid, I wanted to go to Narnia. Everything about it sounds amazing.

Tortall from the Beka Cooper Series by Tamora Pierce

I would love to visit Tortall and travel around.

CHERUB Headquarters

As a kid, my biggest dream was to be a spy, and these books let me pretend I could do that. I would love to be able to be a CHERUB, or even just visit.

Howl’s Moving Castle

I just want to see the castle! It sounds awesome!

The world in His Dark Materials

I mainly just want to know what my daemon would be. Ever since I read this series, I’ve been curious. I can never decide what it would be.

If I could visit during a relatively peaceful time, that would be great.

Thanks for reading!! What book settings would you want to visit??

  1. I totally agree with what you said about Westeros. Feel like I wouldn’t survive in the actuall situation Westeros is in now. I think Hogwarts is on pretty much everyone’s list this week!
