Happy March, friends! February went by so quickly, I can’t believe it’s almost over. I know I say that every month, but it’s true every month.

Books Read
- Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See: 4.5 stars
- Never Ever Getting Back Together by Sophie Gonzales: 4 stars
- I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman, translated by Ros Schwartz: 4 stars
I really enjoyed all thee books! Snow Flower has been on my TBR for literally about 15 years, so I’m super glad I finally read it! And the other two were also really great.

Currently reading
- Nothing so far! I have a couple of ideas, but nothing specific.

Things watched
- The Mummy (1999): I actually watched this in January, but forgot to put it in my post. But I finally watched this classic!!! And I’m so glad I did. This was a group watch with some new friends from my movie club, and it was a blast.
- Edge of Tomorrow (2014): this was another movie club watch-a-long, and it was a Tom Cruise movie! I overall enjoyed it; it was fun and entertaining and I’m a sucker for the time loop trope. But it was also solidly fine. Like a fun, good time and very watchable, but also just a movie.
- Event Horizon (1997): this was our movie club pick this month, and I enjoyed it! It’s a sci-fi horror from the 90s, and it’s a little dorky honestly. It’s super interesting, but the ending is a little ridiculous. Overall, I enjoyed watching it and am glad I did, but I probably won’t rewatch any time soon.
- I finished Drag Race All Stars, season 7 and really enjoyed it! I was happy with the winner, and thought this was a pretty good season overall.
- I did unfortunately start watching the most recent season of the Bachelor, which has been fine. Zach is simultaneously less boring and exactly as boring as I expected him to be, but I was getting fomo so I’m watching it.
- I honestly think that’s all I watched this month! Had a very chill month clearly.

Blog posts
Two reviews of some books I really enjoyed! Hopefully I’ll also have a couple posts in March!

Other news and highlights
- February was a pretty good month! Work was super busy, which kept me busy, but it was good!
- We spent a lot of time with our families this month. We watched the Superbowl with my family, went to my partner’s parent’s a couple of times during the week, and then celebrated my sister’s birthday with my family.
- I went on a ski trip with my family and some family friends! We went to one of our favourite hills, which is not super well-known and therefore usually not that busy, and the snow was so good. My legs were killing me after the first day, but I was glad to get out a bit and to take some time off work and hang out with my family and eat a lot of good food.
- My in-laws got a puppy! It’s a very long and kind of sad story, but they have an adorable French bulldog named Ruby and she’s so sweet and cute.

Anyhow, how was your February? What have you been up to? Do you have any plans for February? Let me know!
Thanks for reading! xx

Idk if it’s because I was in the biggest book slump but February had wonky timing for me lol it was long and short, but I managed to at least get through three -ish books!

This is how I felt about March, clearly time got away from me as I’m replying to this in APRIL LOL. Hopefully the months slow down for both of us a bit!
