Happy Tuesday, gals and/or pals! Today I’m doing another tag. Many thanks to Zuky for tagging me to do this tag literally a year ago, sorry it took me until this year to do it!
The Rules
- Tag & link the person who tagged you.
- Tag and link Jenniely’s post, for she’d love to read everyone’s answers!
- Tick/cross off the ones you’ve done.
- Tag another 10 people.
Received an ARC and not reviewed it: I have never received an ARC, so nope!
Have less than 60% feedback rating on Netgalley: I’ve never used Netgalley, so also nope!
✅ Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did): yes, please don’t look at my to-review list, it’s pathetic.
✅ Folded down the page of a book: I am a fan of dog-earing books, so I’ve definitely done this.
✅ Accidentally spilled on a book: 100%. I left a water bottle slightly open and upside down in my backpack while travelling recently, and spilled water all over my bag including my books.
✅ DNF a book this year: I’ve DNFed three this year, which is three more than the last few years combined.
Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it: no! I have definitely bought books purely because of the cover, but I’ve read all of them as well! I’m not really a fan of waste and excess so
✅ Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework): yes, obviously.
Skim read a book: I’ve skim read parts of books, but never a whole book.
✅ Completely missed your Goodreads goal: I missed by like three last year, I think.
✅ Borrowed a book and not returned it to the library: okay once in middle school, I borrowed a book (one of Mag Cabot’s books, I think) and then lost it, and the librarian wouldn’t let me take out any other books. Turns out it was in the school lost and found the whole time.
Broke a book buying ban: nope! I’ve never put myself on a book buying ban.
Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about: I’m usually pretty good about remembering what books are about, so nope!
✅ Wrote in a book you were reading: I’ve definitely underlined passages I liked.
Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads: I’m pretty good about updating my Goodreads, so not recently.
✅ Borrowed a book and not returned it to a friend: yes BUT only because we moved before I could see her again. I still have it on my shelf and remember it’s hers.
Dodged someone asking if they can borrow a book: nope!
Broke the spine of someone else’s book: I don’t think I’ve ever borrowed a physical book from someone and broken it, so nope!
Took the jacket off a book to protect it and ended up making it more damaged: I don’t think so, luckily.
✅ Sat on a book accidentally: oh, 100%, I’m very clumsy.
10/20! I’m equally naughty and nice 🙂
I’m not going to tag anyone, but please feel free to do this and tag me so I can see your answers! Have you done any of these? Which ones? Let me know!
Ally xx
I try hard not to break the spines of any books intentionally, but even more especially the ones that don’t belong to me. Hopefully everyone who borrows my books feels the same!

Same! I don’t do it intentionally, but it does happen. But I’m always extra careful with other people’s books!
