Goodreads Bookshelf Tour: intro

Happy Saturday, everyone!

Today I’m starting a new series and I’m super excited for it. A little while ago, Bella @ All Things Annabelle commented something along the lines of “I’d love to know what’s on your best-of-the-best shelf on Goodreads!” and it gave me the idea for this series.

Essentially, every other week, I’ll be going through the different shelves I have on Goodreads, explaining what they mean, and some of the books on there. I’m a super nosy person and love knowing what everyone else does on their account, so I though this could be interesting? Hopefully because I have approximately 13 posts planned so if it’s boring than ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Here are some of the shelves you have to look forward to:

  • Favourites
  • Owned TBR
  • Read soon or remove
  • Spotify audiobooks
  • The best-of-the-best
  • To reread
  • Top to-read
  • Wishlist
  • Seasonal/yearly shelves (i.e. 2019 to-read)

A lot of them are fairly self-explanatory, but I thought it could be interesting to see which books are on each shelf.

This post is really just an introduction for the next few posts, so that’s all I really have to say! But if there’s anything you want me to talk about on each shelf, let me know!

Thanks for reading! xx

  1. I’ve only recently started to organise my Goodreads shelf. For ages I’ve just kept everything under the shelves that are there when you open an account because I’ve always been too lazy 😅 This is a great post idea!

    1. Thank you! Honestly, same. For the longest time I only had the ones they give you and “favourites” (and then I forgot I had made a favourites one and made my best-of-the-best shelf so now I have both 😅)
