Happy Wednesday! I’m back with another Top Five Wednesday, which you can find more about here! This week is spring reads, which I think is a fun topic!
Educated by Tara Westover
This book is all about overcoming your past and new beginnings, which I thought was perfect for fall. Even though I feel like a lot of this book takes place in the winter, I think it would be a great read for the spring time. It’s a fairly easy read, and super interesting.
The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls
This is similar to Educated, but the Glass Castle just has such a lovely atmosphere that I think suits spring really well. Again, it’s about growth and new beginnings. If you haven’t already reading the Glass Castle, I highly recommend it.
Nimona by Noelle Stevenson
Idk why but I just feel like Nimona is a great spring read. It’s light and fun and funny, and the art style is great. I 100% recommend it.
Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire
Every Heart a Doorway is also about new beginnings, so I guess that’s the theme of this post. I loved the atmosphere of this book, and even though it’s dark and twisted, it’s also kind of light and hopeful? If you’ve read it, I feel like you’ll understand.
Wither by Lauren DeStefano
The atmosphere of this book again just seems very spring-like. It’s again kind of dark, but also fun and interesting. I really enjoy this book, even though I never talk about it, and definitely recommend it.
So those are my spring recommendations! Have you read any of these? What were your thoughts? What books do you recommend for spring? Let me know!

I’ve had Educated on my Kindle for ages but never seem to get round to reading it 😀

Educated is in my pile of spring reads. It’s been staring at me from my book case since I received it.

I love that description of Every Heart a Doorway — both dark and twisted and light and hopeful. It truly is both.

I read Wither a few weeks ago and its descriptions gave me spring vibes too.
Happy readings! 😉
