Happy Tuesday everyone!!
It has been a minute and a half since I did a Top Ten Tuesday, which you can learn more about here! Today the topic is Most Recent Additions to My To-Read List, which is such a fun topic!
Night Film by Marisha Pessl
I was watching some booktube the other day (which I honestly rarely do) and I think someone mentioned this in their top books of the year. It sounded super interesting, and the title and cover are very much my aesthetic.
The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North
Ditto for this one! This book is about reincarnation, which, yes please! I’ve only read one other book that did reincarnation where the character can remember their past life (My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares, for those interested, highly recommend) and it was great!
The Remains of Day by Kazuo Ishiguro
Rachel recently told me to read this book and the next, so here they are!
A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro
The End of Loneliness by Benedict Wills
Idk why this is here, but it sounds like something right up my alley.
Wilder Girls by Rory Power
I think I saw a couple people review and love this book, and the cover is GORGEOUS, so here it is! Pretty cover + promise of feminist horror + boarding school = something that automatically makes it to my TBR.
Big Water by Andrea Curtis
Erin was recently gushing about this book, and I think it’s by a Canadian author (?), so count me in!!
Self-Portrait with Boy by Rachel Lyon
I’ve heard a ton of good things about this book, and it sounds so. interesting. I’ve always been interested in those iconic photographs where we know nothing about the people in the photos but the photos are really popular (like the Tianamen Square one), and this is about that!
The Downstairs Girl by Stacey Lee
A diverse, YA, historical fiction with a pretty cover? Obviously it’s on my TBR.
Everyone Brave is Forgotten by Chris Cleave
I got this book for Christmas, so obviously it’s on my TBR!
So those are the most recent additions to my TBR! Have you read any of these? Which should I read first? Let me know!
