Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you are all having lovely weekends. Today, we’re doing another award post, this time the Unique Blogger Award! I was tagged by my favourite blogging buddy, Rebecca @ Bookishly Rebecca. I was also tagged by the always wonderful Bree @ In Love and Words, so thank you both for the tags! If you haven’t checked either of them out, you definitely should.
RULES:
- Display the award
- Thank the person who nominated you, post a link to their blog
- Answer the questions they’ve written for you
- Nominate 8-13 bloggers and give them three questions in the spirit of sharing love and solidarity within our blogging family!
Questions from Rebecca
Name one author whose books you always look forward to reading.
So many! Neil Gaiman, Donna Tartt, and Celeste Ng are probably on top of the list right now. Mainly because I’m hoping for their books for Christmas and I’m really looking forward to (hopefully) read them.
Where do you usually buy books from?
I generally get books from Chapters, because it’s the closest bookstore to me and also my best friend works there and I use her discount!
What’s the last movie you saw in theaters?
I think I answered this last awards post, and my answer was the newest Mission Impossible. I haven’t been to the movies since then (which sucks because there’s so many movies I want to see).
Questions from Bree
What are your favourite type of book blogger posts to read and why?
I like recommendation posts! Or posts where people talk about books that fit a certain category (which we all know because I do them all the time). I just love seeing people’s opinions on books.
Who is one of your favourite main characters ever written and why? (And what book are they from?)
Sirius Black, from Harry Potter. Idk I just really like his storyline and think he’s an interesting character. My theory is: I knew a lot about Harry Potter before I read the series, but I didn’t know anything about the Marauders and their storyline. So when I read Prisoner of Azkaban, it was totally new to me. So I think that’s why I love Sirius (and Lupin) so much.
Do you like poetry? Do you like reading poetry on blogs?
I tend not to read a lot of poetry, but I don’t dislike it! I want to get more into it and have a few on my TBR. I tend not to read poetry on blogs, but that’s just a personal preference thing. I have a lot of respect for bloggers who post their work on their blogs.
I’m not going to be nominating anyone today, but if you want to, please answer these questions in the comments!
Thank you all for reading! xx
Congrats! I loved your responses
