You may remember a while back I did a physical TBR post. I thought I’d go through and see which ones I’ve read, which I still need to read, and which I’ve reconsidered.

So that’s the update of my physical TBR! Have you read any of these? Which should I read first? Let me know!
Ally xx
I’ve read Ready Player One, Night, and Salt to the Sea. All were fantastic! I really want to start Strange the Dreamer soon, but I’m a little intimidated because I have the paperback and it looks so daunting 😀
Oh, I also read 1Q84. It was entrancing but ultimately disappointing for me.

I’m so excited for Player One and Night!!! Salt to the Sea was so amazing, glad you loved it too!
Strange the Dreamer completely exceeded my expectations! It might look daunting, but it’s actually a super easy read. I definitely recommend it!
That’s good to know about 1Q84! I’m really enjoying the writing, but I think the plot’s a little slow. We’ll just see how it goes I guess!

Wow, the only book on all of these lists that I have read is Ready Player One. I found it to be amusing and enjoyable, but it didn’t live up to all the hype surrounding it (for me — the hype might be less now that the movie is out). Still, I hope you enjoy it!
I think I need to do a physical TBR post one of these days so I have some accountability for reading books I already own…

Good job!!! ❤ My physical TBR is getting bigger but I'm hoping to knock some of it out with a read-a-thon this week and a month-long one in October! 🙂
I'm also realizing I have no self-control since I'm not going on vacation. Maybe we could buddy read X by Ilyasah Shabazz because I've heard really good things about it!

Thank you!!! I actually added two books and just didn’t add them to this list lol 🙈🙈 good luck with your readathons!!!
Yes!!!! That would be a good one to do! We’d just have to wait until I went home (so like December, which I’d probably have to do because of school anyways tbh unless we did like a month-long buddy read which would also be okay tbh)

Thank you! ❤
That sounds great, I'll probably be winding down when it comes to reading so it'll be great motivation in December 🙂

I really want to soon!! I keep putting it off in case I’m disappointed in it but I know I’ll most likely love it

I’ve read The Shoe on the Roof and wasn’t a huge fan of it. Wouldn’t blame you for pulling that off your list! 😀 Otherwise, wow! Awesome TBR, and awesome progression through it! 😀

Good to know!! It was really only on my TBR because the author’s from Calgary and so am I haha. I think it’s one of those books that hopefully I’ll eventually get to, but not any time soon.
Thank you! 😀

You’re a fellow Canadian! 😀 I totally understand what you mean hahah Have you tried the author’s other book, 419, I believe it’s called? I heard better things about that one haaha

😀
I have! I really enjoyed 419 and thought it was really interesting! It wasn’t the best book I’ve ever read, but it was also a cool perspective

The only one I’ve read from your TBR list is Turtles All the Way Down and the mental health rep was great and I think I rated it about 4 stars when I read it, but my opinion has changed a little since. Like I said, the mental health rep was brilliant but the rest was a bit bleh. But if I could have the same amount of books on your TBR that would be great, it’s actually a manageable size haha

That’s good to know! John Green’s books have always been such a hit or miss for me, so we’ll see what this one is like. I’ve heard a lot of people with similar experiences to you!
Haha this was me being fairly strict with what I put on it! My family has a bunch of books I want to read, but I didn’t put them on this list so I didn’t overwhelm myself haha
