Tag Tuesday: the Cheesy Goodness Tag

Happy Tuesday everyone!! Today I’m doing the Cheesy Goodness Tag, which I was tagged for by the lovely Arwa @ Ones Peculiar. Thank you so much for the tag!! This one was a lot of fun.

The rules:

  • Tag the original creator: Fire and Rain Books
  • Ping back the person who tagged you (thank you!!)
  • Have fun!

CHEDDAR THE CLASSIC CHEESE: Pick your favourite classic novel

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath! It was such a good book and the narrator was so relatable. I highly recommend it!

SWISS THE HOLE-Y CHEESE: Pick an emotional roller coaster

Morning Star by Pierce Brown. It was such a good ending to the trilogy and such a roller coaster of feelings.

The Fault in Our Stars isn’t John Green’s best book and is just sad for the sake of being sad. Sorry.

BRIE THE FAVOURITE CHEESE: Name an author you always want more from

Neil Gaiman! I always love his writing and want to read everything he’s ever written.

GOUDA THE DUTCH CHEESE:A book that makes you want to travel

So many!!! I think TheThief Lord by Cornelia Funke was the first book to really make me want to travel, and is still the reason I want to go to Venice.

AMERICAN THE FAKE CHEESE: Your least favourite book

This comes as no surprise, but All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. It’s the only contemporary I’ve DNF’d in a while and I think it’s SO BAD.

COLBY JACK THE MIXED CHEESE: Pick your favourite ship

Lily and James Potter!!

MOZZARELLA CHEESE A SIMPLE CHEESE: An old favourite you’ll never stop loving

Is saying Harry Potter cheating? Because it’s definitely Harry Potter. Whenever I reread them, I expect to enjoy them less, but I always seem to enjoy them just as much, if not more.

PEPPERJACK THE SPICY CHEESE: A book you can’t judge by it’s cover

25812109

I’m going to go with The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis. I actually like the cover other than the colour. I think the colour is so off-putting. But the book inside is wonderful and I think everyone should read it.

MUENSTER CHEESE THE MONSTER CHEESE: A villain that should never have the chance of eating cheese again

Umbridge from Harry Potter, obviously. She’s the worst. The w o r s t.

I’m tagging Kiersten and Joe, and anyone else who wants to do it! As always, no pressure and sorry if you’ve already done the tag!

Thanks for reading! xx

  1. This is such a fun tag, never thought books could be comparable to cheese but I guess they can! I totally agree with your opinions on The Fault in Our Stars and All the Bright Places, I just don’t understand the hype. I’ve only read Coraline by Neil Gaiman so I guess I should check out more of his books! 😀
