Thursday’s Top 4: books that make you want to time travel

Find out more about Thursday’s Top 4 here! It’s basically a meme I started mainly for myself, but anyone can participate! Visit this page for the upcoming topics 🙂

This week is books that make you want to time travel!

The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke

This book takes place in Venice in modern-ish times (like there’s electricity but no cellphones). I don’t remember the exact time period, but I would love to visit it (and Venice).

I, Coriander by Sally Gardner

This book takes place in England during the ruling of Cromwell, which would have been a shitty time to live, but is also a really interesting time.

The Dragonkeeper trilogy by Carole Wilkinson

This trilogy happens during the Han dynasty in ancient China, and it’s one of my favourites. I would absolutely love to go visit during that time.

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch

So this book takes place during modern times, but the characters can travel to different versions of their world, some of which are futuristic. I just think it’d be so cool to be able to travel in the box thing they use.

So those are some books that make me want to time travel! Are there any time periods you wish you could travel to? Let me know!
