Popular books on my TBR

Since last week I talked about popular books I wouldn’t be reading, today I thought I’d talk about popular books I want to read! These aren’t necessarily the books on my TBR with the most ratings, but they’re the ones I feel are most popular in the blogisphere and that are generally well-loved.

Room by Emma Donoghue

This one sounds so interesting and something that I’d love. A couple of my friends have read it and said it seems like something I’d like, so hopefully I do!

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

I got this one for Christmas, I’m just looking for a time to read it! (maybe vacation next month) I’m super excited to read it!

Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier

I have high hopes for this one! It seems like everyone really enjoys it, and it sounds so dark and atmospheric and like something I’d totally love.

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

This sounds like a dark, mysterious YA summer book, which sounds right up my alley. I know it has kind of mixed reviews, but I think it’s generally loved for the most part.

The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson

Even though I don’t go into high fantasy fairly frequently, I’ve heard such good things about this book and series. I definitely want to give it a try!

So those are some popular books I really want to read! Have you read any of these? Which should I read first? (I know Joe is going to say RPO, so other than that)

Thanks for reading! xx

    1. Me too!! I love atmospheric creepy books, so it sounds exactly like something I’d like!

I’m thinking I might read it when I go on vacation next month! It seems like a good vacation book!

  1. Ready Player One was enjoyable, but I’d suggest not expecting too much from it. Better to be pleasantly surprised if it provides more than you expected than to succumb to the hype and be disappointed. I have Rebecca on my TBR as well, so hopefully we both like that one!

  2. I want to read Ready Player One too but I’m scared for some reason??? it’s one of those popular-book-irrational-fears-because-everyone-loves-it-but-what-if-it’s-horrible,,, but booktube adores it and there’s a movie so I want to try c:
