Thursday’s Top 4: books that feature a beach

Find out more about Thursday’s Top 4 here! It’s basically a meme I started mainly for myself, but anyone can participate! Visit this page for the upcoming topics 🙂

This week is books that feature a beach, which is honestly such a random topic and idk why I chose it. I could barely think of four books.

The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen

A good portion of this book takes place at a beach house, which is so summery and perfect.

Wish by Alexandra Bullen

I don’t think I’ve ever talked about this book, but it’s a YA book about a girl who gets three wishes (it’s more interesting than I’m making it sound). But it features a scene where the main character goes to a beach house which a bunch of her friends.

Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

The beach scene in this is fairly important to the overall plot, so I don’t want to ruin anything. But just know this book is amazing, and there’s a beach.

Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

Humbert Humbert and Dolores spend a lot of time at beaches in this book, for obvious and creepy reasons.

  1. You know, in all my beach reads I can’t think of any specific books that actually have any significant action set at the beach. That’s something I’ll have to think more about. Neat list!
