Help choose my next read!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I recently finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, which I completely adored, and have now fallen into a reading slump/book hangover. So I thought I’d get your help in choosing my next read!

The contenders:

  • The Leavers by Lisa Ko
  • Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi
  • The Power by Naomi Alderman
  • Artemis by Andy Weird
  • 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami
  • The Translation of Love by Lynne Katsukake

I’ve started 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami and am slowly reading it, so should I just devote my time to that one? I’ve had the Translation of Love on my bedside table for a few days now and have yet to pick it up, but it sounds interesting and I do want to read it. But I’ve also wanted to read all the others for a while now. See my issue?

Please vote below and help your girl out!!

  1. Ahhh I’m so thrilled you enjoyed The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, I’m going to start reading it this week. 🙂

I feel like 1Q84 is such a huge book, so maybe you can pick one “lighter” one to read on the side? I’m not too sure which one I’d pick, though. 🙈

      1. hahaha yeah, I have heard that the author is “eccentric”? or that his books are way different from what we are used to haha I think that one is like 3 books in one XD

      2. it is marked as one, but it kind of has 3 inside? I saw a “box” with the three parts. like LOTR haha and yes, for sure haha it gives you a feeling of accomplishment XD
