Thursday’s Top 4: great young adult books

Find out more about Thursday’s Top 4 here! It’s basically a meme I started mainly for myself, but anyone can participate! Visit this page for the upcoming topics 🙂

This week is great young adult books. I feel like YA is a pretty popular genre, so these are some of my favourites! I’ve also talked about them to death, so this is a very brief post.

Everyday by David Levithan

This book has such an interesting premise, and it was one of the books I had to read immediately.

Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder

I feel like you all know how much I love this book. It has such a great female lead and a super interesting story.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I know this one has it’s problems and it’s basically like eating cotton candy, but I can’t help it. It’s just so cute.

Beastly by Alex Flynn

I don’t talk about this one that much, but I really do love it. It’s so sweet and I think it’s super interesting.

So those are some of my favourite YA books! What are yours?

  2. I think my favorite long-term YA books are Anne McCaffrey’s Harper Hall trilogy and Sorcery and Cecilia by Patricia Wrede and Carolyn Stevermer. I have other YA favorites that come and go, but those are constant.

(Poison Study is great, too. I need to re-read it, though, I haven’t read it in ages.)

  3. I can’t really remember Anna and the French Kiss too well but I remember I enjoyed it and I want to reread it sometime. I’ve heard it’s had some problems but I think I will still be able to enjoy it for the most part. I think one of my favourite young adult books is a newer one and that’s The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue. I only read it a couple of months ago and I already want to reread it! Really enjoyed this post! 😊

    1. It definitely has it’s problems, but it’s still so sweet! I’ve heard such great things about The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue! I’ll have to look into it 🙂
      Thanks Lucy!! 🙂

  4. I love Anna and the French Kiss (Isla’s book was my favorite of the three in that series, though!)

I really liked Foolish Hearts and, of course, A Court of Mist and Fury.
