Happy Tuesday everyone!!
Learn more about Top Ten Tuesday here! This week is Books With My Favourite Colour On the Cover. I don’t really have a favourite colour, honestly. Historically, it’s been purple. And I’ve always loved blue. But recently, I’ve been really into green. And I also love hot pink. So here are some books that fit those colours! (spoilers: there’s more than ten, sorry)
Blue
Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma; The Fault in our Stars by John Green; Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys; The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
(side note: I think blue was the most popular colour, and I could have added WAY more covers)
Green
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng; Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi; Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones (also with purple!); My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares
Purple
Starfish by Akemia Dawn Bowman; Island of the Aunts by Eva Ibbotson; Magyk by Angie Sage; Divine Madness by Robert Muchamore
Pink
Dream Factory by Brad Barkley and Heather Hepler; The Measure of my Powers by Jackie Kai Ellis; The Vegetarian by Han Kang; The Gallery of Imaginary Girls by Lauren Karcz
What are your favourite colours? What are your favourite colours for book covers? Let me know!
Ally xx
Blue was definitely one of the most popular colors (I even did it). But I love and appreciate all colors. I love the ones you chose for the green and purple covers.

That’s a fun list! I used green for mine, but now I’m feeling more creative than I was when I wrote it, and I wish I’d gone for gradients. I love how your Howl’s cover has both green and purple for instance!

Green is such a great colour! But gradients would have been really cool too! Maybe a future post?

I’ll have to remember it for when I don’t want to do one of the other official Top Ten Tuesday posts. (Or just for a random post…)

Love that you were able to display some stunning covers from a handful of your favorite colors. It truly shows off how pretty these covers are when grouped together!! I went with a under-loved color this week: yellow! http://nerdnarrationblog.wordpress.com/2018/05/08/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-my-second-favorite-color-on-the-cover/

I’m so indecisive that I can’t choose a favourite colour (it’s always changing haha), but if I had to, it would either be blue or yellow. I own a lot of blue books so I guess I like blue on book covers 😂 But I loved all your choices for each colour!
