Thursday’s Top 4: books I want to reread soon

Find out more about Thursday’s Top 4 here! It’s basically a meme I started mainly for myself, but anyone can participate! Visit this page for the upcoming topics 🙂

This week, the topic is books I want to reread soon!

Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness

I loved this series a ton, but I feel like I missed things the first time around? You know when you’re so invested in a book, you don’t always read things? I feel like that happened. So I want to reread it.

Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys

I read this book AGES ago and remember adoring it. But I don’t remember it too much, so I want to reread it soon.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Okay confession: I wasn’t a fan of this book the first time around. I don’t know why. I know everyone loves it, and I should’ve loved it too. But I think I was too young maybe. I was like 14 when I read it, and it’s a fairly heavy book, so I think a lot of it went over my head. I definitely want to reread it soon.

The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman

This was one of my favourite books (and series) growing up, but I haven’t read it in forever. Since his new book came out, I really want to reread this series to see if I love it as much as I did the first time.

Those are my rereads! What books do you want to reread soon?

Thanks for reading! Ally xx

  1. I never read The Book Thief, but it’s on my TBR list. I do want to re-read lots of Shakespeare this year, as well as getting back to some of the older sci-fi that’s on my bookshelf. And it’s been waaaay too long since I re-read Tolkien. I want to get to at least The Hobbit soon, too. Hmm. Big plans, not enough time.
