Thursday’s Top 4: books to read when you’re in a slump

Find out more about Thursday’s Top 4 here! It’s basically a meme I started mainly for myself, but anyone can participate! Visit this page for the upcoming topics 🙂

This week’s topic is books to read when you’re in a slump, which I’ve done before but I really like it so I’m doing it again.

Everyday by David Levithan

I talked about this one last TT4, but it’s one of my go-tos for a slump. Please just read it.

Reason to Breathe by Rebecca Donnovan

This is one of those books I will never actually admit to reading but secretly have read at least five times. It’s just trashy, fluffy romance. Idk, it’s good when you can’t read anything else!

Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Prachett

This is one of the funniest books I’ve ever read and I love it so much. Please give it a read if you haven’t already!

Life of Pi by Yann Martel

If I’m in a slump and aren’t feeling romance, I go to the middle section of this book, when Pi is on the ocean. I just love those parts and the writing is some of the best writing ever. It always helps rekindle my love of reading.

Thanks for reading! What books do you go to when you’re in a reading slump??

xx
