WWW Wednesday: January 10

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. All you do is answer the three questions and leave a link to Sam’s post!

The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

It’s my first week back in school, and I’m already dying!!!!! I need to write my thesis!!!! I need to write another paper for my thesis!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAA

Me irl rn

ALSO it’s my LAST SEMESTER OF UNDERGRAD WTF please pray for me in these difficult times.

But I have been managing to read a little because I know how to time manage I just don’t sleep and live off coffee.

What are you currently reading?

I’m still reading American Gods (I put in down in favour of my Christmas presents) but I’m almost finished! I also just recently acquired 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami, which I’ve been so excited for but is 1157 pages long. So I’ve decided I’m going to read at least 10 pages a day to get through it.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just recently finished Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng and loved it! Her writing is fantastic and I loved the story. I’ll have a review ASAP.

Also not pictured, I recently finished the Darker Shades of Magic trilogy, and I’ll have reviews for those up soon! I’ve been stockpiling reviews for when I can’t read because my thesis has literally consumed me.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next I will be reading academic papers and legislation relating to pharmaceutical pricing for my thesis, which is actually more interesting than it may seem. If you want me to talk about my thesis at some point, I would be happy to do that because I actually love it and am a huge nerd but am also really proud of it so far.

That’s all for today! What have you been reading recently? Are any other students panicking about school?

Thank for reading! xx

  1. I forget, did you read Everything I Never Told You? I loved Little Fires Everywhere but not as much as EINTY. And I can’t wait to see what you think of 1Q84, I’ve had it on my shelf for years but I’m so intimidated by it.

  2. Best of luck on your last semester of undergrad! That’s a fun and exciting and scary time all at once. Try to enjoy it while you’re there — it will be over before you know it! 🙂

And 1157 pages? That would make me re-think reading a book. O.o
