Favourite characters of 2017

It’s still crazy to me that it’s 2018. I think part of me is still in 2017, so I wanted to do a post of my favourite characters from books I read in 2017.

Branley Jacobs from the Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis

AHHHHH YOU GUYS this book was so good. I loved all the characters, but I wanted to specifically mention Branley because I think she’s so interesting and I don’t think she gets a lot of love. SHE’S SO GOOD. I talk about this more in my review, which is coming soon!

Snow from Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi

I loved Snow and I wish we got to see her more. I think she’s such an interesting person and I think we would get along if we ever met. She just seems so cool and independent and smart.

Starr from the Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

I think most people loved Starr. She’s a great character and someone I could totally relate too.

Mustang from Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Mustang is possibly one of my favourite characters ever. She’s so good. I want to be or marry her or both.

Sevro from Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Sevro is also amazing. He’s the best best best and such a good character.

Addy from One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus

Addy was so good!!!!!! She was the only character that I thought actually had character development, and I really liked her development.

Celia Foote from the Help by Kathryn Stockett

I think Celia was my favourite character in the Help, which is saying something since the characters are the strongest part of the novel. But she’s just great and I really enjoyed reading about her.

Thanks everyone for reading! Who were your favourite characters of 2017?
