Thursday’s Top 4: books with good Christmas scenes

Find out more about Thursday’s Top 4 here! It’s basically a meme I started mainly for myself, but anyone can participate! Visit this page for the upcoming topics 🙂

This week’s topic is books with good Christmas scenes, to get in the Christmas spirit!

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I love the emails sent between Anna and St. Clair during their Christmas break, and it’s one of my favourite parts of the book.

Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn

This book is all Christmassy so there isn’t really one Christmas scene, but I love all the Christmas things Dash and Lily do. It’s a great book to read this time of year and I highly recommend it.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling

The Christmas scenes in the Harry Potter books are always great, but I think the POA is my favourite. IDK why, I think it’s just because I love Sirius.

Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder

I LOVED these books as a kid, and the Christmas scenes were always the best. My favourite was always the one in this book. It always felt magical in a way?

Yay for Christmas scenes!!

Thanks for reading!

  1. Great choices 🙂 I really like the cover of Dash and Lilly’s 🙂 it’s creative and cute. If you’re looking for more great Christmas scenes, I’ve recently finished An Ex for Christmas 🎄 by Lauren Layne and that one is everything that’s Christmas in there and it’s a fun read – I highly recommend it 🙂

  2. I need to re-read the Little House books, because the main thing I remember about them is making maple sugar candy in snow molds. I remember I loved them when I was young, though!
