Read-a-thin is a readathon created by Jessica at JessicaMarie, Amanda at ACourtofBooksandLove and Chelsea at AVeryBookishGirl, and round 2 is happening this November! I’m super excited as I haven’t been reading much because of school and hopefully this will help me read some more. You can see the Goodreads group here and my first go here!
Rules
- You will have the entire month to read these books.
- The goal is to complete 6 challenges!
- You can double up on challenges. In other words, you can use one book for two different challenges! So you only have to read 3 books in a month to completely finish the readathon!
- They have to be
(should be)books already on your TBR
Because of school, I will definitely be doubling up on my challenges! I have a bit of a reading break in the middle of November, so hopefully I can get most of these done then. I hope to read four books!
Challenge: Read a diverse book
Challenge: Read a new-to-you author
Book: the Help by Kathryn Stockett
Challenge: Read a horror/thriller
Challenge: Read a book in 24 hours
Book: Between You and Me by Lisa Hall
Challenge: Read a book that counts toward another readathon
Book: The Beauty Myth by Naomi Wolf
Technically this isn’t towards a specific readathon, but it is towards my 2017 Books to Finish, so I’m counting it!
Challenge: Read a book outside of your favourite genre
Book: The Queen of Katwe by Tim Crothers (memoir, non-fiction)
All of these books are from either by top TBR or my currently reading shelf, and two of them are books I said I wanted to finish before 2018! I think they’ll also be easy to read with school (hopefully).
That’s all! I’m super excited to get started!
Let me know if you’re taking part in this readathon, or if you’ve read any of these books!
xx
whooop whooop! good luck! 🙂

Good luck! This sounds like a fun readathon, but I think I’ll be too busy with NaNoWriMo next month to participate. Have fun!

LOL, thanks! I can’t imagine doing both school and NaNo, unless I was taking a class where NaNo was the month’s assignment.
