Find out more about Thursday’s Top 4 here! It’s basically a meme I started mainly for myself, but anyone can participate! Visit this page for the upcoming topics 🙂
This week’s topic is books that take place in high school, in honour of back to school. Coincidentally, these are all books that I read in high school too.
Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky: Perks is one of my favourite books. I really like the way it treats high school and mental illness and friendships.
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins: everyone (almost) loves this book. I don’t think it’s the most accurate portrayal of a high school relationship, but it’s cute and fluffy
Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick: I read this in junior high/early high school when it was still a trilogy. I re-read it last summer and honestly, it’s not all that great? But for junior high/high school me, it was.
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver: I really love this book. I know it’s somewhat controversial in that some people love it and others hate it, but I really like it.
Thanks for reading! xx
I think hush hush is one of those really quite trashy series but I love it all the same 😂
