Top Ten Tuesday: Hidden Gems in YA Dystopian

Learn more about Top Ten Tuesday here! This week is “Ten Hidden Gem Books in X Genre.” I did YA dystopian novels that I feel like I hear nothing about (I also use the term “dystopian” very loosely here haha)

  1. the Adoration of Jenna Fox by Mary E. Pearson
  2. the Akhenaten Adventure by P.B. Kerr
  3. Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness (I feel like this had a lot of hype but that’s disappeared now which is a shame)
  4. Wither by Lauren DeStefano (same as the Ness book)
  5. Entwined by Heather Dixon
  6. Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
  7. My Dirty Little Book of Stolen Time by Liz Jensen
  8. Ysabel by Guy Gavriel Kay
  9. Stardust by Neil Gaiman
  10. Beka Cooper by Tamora Pierce

Thanks for reading!! xx

    1. I highly recommend any of them!
And I think it’s probably died down a bit. I remember when I was in high school, practically every book was dystopia! But I think it’s still really popular, just not to that extent!

    1. Thank you!! Entwined is awesome and I highly recommend it! And Howl is one of my favourites! I’m not really sure if it’s fantasy or dystopian or magic or what haha
