Saturday drinks: summer fruit white sangria

It’s almost the summer and that means barbecues and summer parties and lots of excuses for summer cocktails! So I thought it would be fun to do a different summer cocktail every Saturday of May and June. These are ones that I’ve made before and love and think are perfect for summer!

(disclaimer: I don’t advocate for binge drinking or over-drinking or underage drinking obviously, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with enjoying a drink or two on special occasions, or nights with your friends. ALSO the legal drinking age where I live is 18, so keep in mind that I’ve been legal for three years now)

On to the first one: summer fruit white sangria! I love sangria, especially really fruity ones, and the summer is the perfect time to make them!

You will need:

  • 1-2 cups peach juice
  • 1 bottle of sweet, fruity white wine
  • strawberries and peaches (as many as you want), sliced
  • 1 can of club soda

In a large pitcher, mix the peach juice, white wine, and sliced strawberries. Let chill for 1 hour and add club soda (or whatever soda you like) just before serving. Best if served extra cold.

Thanks for reading! xx
